CSB/SJU Computer Science Club & Patty Peschel, Albany Area Schools Teacher
Do you enjoy a good puzzle? Are you creative, and love to tackle problems in many different ways? Do you want to learn what Computer Science is all about and become a better problem solver along the way? CS Club is open to all students in grades 6-8. In CS Club, you will learn about coding and so much more. You will get to solve puzzles, learn how computers store information and communicate and practice working in a team. You will even get to program a real robot using Scratch! To start, we will come up with creative solutions for puzzles and challenges, and by the end of the 6-week program, we will be using our coding skills to help robots solve problems in the real world. Creativity is key, and no two solutions are ever quite the same!
