  • 3D Printing: Pokemon - Via Zoom!

    Tech Academy This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will be designing a keychain, and the 3D print will be mailed home. No experience necessary, but familiarity with doing common tasks using a computer and keyboarding is required. Fees listed include printing fee for one project. Our virtual camps feature engaging interactive instruction in a collaborative learning environment. For each session, students will also be given access to our online classroom, which will feature recordings of the lessons and a curriculum guide with all the steps covered in class, along with instructions for project extensions. To protect students’ privacy, we do not share videos of the actual classes, but we will have follow-along recordings reviewing the instructions and activities done in class. Parents will be given the option to sign up on our classroom page for a reminder email and text before the class begins. We will be using Zoom for all our classes. Home Technical Requirements for all Classes: ● Computer: PC (Windows 7 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM (Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically do not work) ● Internet: Broadband internet ● Webcam ● Microphone and Speakers ● Zoom Installed on computer *Additional Technology Required: TinkerCAD (login information provided during class).
  • Babysitting 101

    Emergency Outfitters This course is best suited for 10-13 year olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Students will learn safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants and how to handle behavior problems. Students will receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Please bring a writing utensil, snacks, beverage(s), and lunch. Food will not be provided. Parents - please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the end of class to pick up your child.

    Char Bzdok This class is designed for youth to have FUN while learning some inquiry based science concepts. We will be using the simplest of techniques (freezer bags and ice), but also teach other methods of the business in today's world. Come and have some fun with your friends!

    COR Robotics Turn your passion for video games into valuable life skills! We will introduce the world of Esports and teach students about the many opportunities available to them by getting involved. Students will get to play some of the most popular Esports games, compete with and against each other in tournaments and learn important lessons along the way.

    Char Bzdok Come and explore your senses while you make your very own KINETIC SAND. Mold your imagination and let your creativity flow! We will be using regular household items to make this fascinating substance. It’s mesmerizing, it’s satisfying, and once in your hands you can’t put it down! Watch them explore, shape, slice, scoop, squish, smash and flow again and again!
  • Mary Poppins Jr. (Gr. 5-8)

    Kristin Stang Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.” From Bert & his clan of chimney sweepers to the Bird Woman and beyond, Mary Poppins is a show full of many roles to showcase a young performer! She grew up performing in theatre, playing piano, and singing. She attended Cathedral High School in St. Cloud and moved to New York City following graduation to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy for Musical Theatre. In 2010, she relocated to Oklahoma City and studied children’s theatre. She was the Fine Arts teacher and director for St. James School in OKC; developing curriculum and teaching the music and drama programs for preschool – eighth grade, the speech program for fifth – eighth grade, and founding the St. James Children’s Choir. In off time from the school, she taught and directed musical theatre for ages 4 – 12 with two local theatre companies for a combined thirteen years. She also taught and directed abroad in Busto Arsizio and Paderno, Italy. She is a private voice teacher to first – eighth grade students and values witnessing their discoveries and individual growth in vocal music. Kristin continues to perform in theatre productions and in her spare moments enjoys volunteering in PKU research, trying great restaurants, writing, traveling, and any moment spent with her squad of spoiled pups; Flynn Rider, Crosby, and Harley.

    Stearns County 4-H This lively day camp will take campers on a fun-filled adventure to explore farm life, from caring for animals to learning about agriculture and farming practices. With a focus on animals like cows, chickens and sheep (and even some fun animal-inspired crafts), kids will gain an appreciation for where our food comes from and how animals and plants are interwoven in farm life.

With a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey to Neverland in this Junior edition of the hit Broadway musical. Come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a band of bungling pirates, and of course, the villainous Captain Hook!     Benjamin Kalway Preschool Music with Friends is a fun class that captures a child’s attention, nurtures creativity and individuality – all through the use of music, singing, movement, literature and instrument exploration. Combining music and movement provides a learning experience that helps boost physical, cognitive, language, and social emotional skills. Each lesson provides an opportunity for your child to reflect, compare, make choices, express opinions and preferences and engage in problem solving activities. A parent is required to attend with each child. For children ages 2-5 and their parents.
  • RC Wars

    COR Robotics In RC Wars, teams of students will build their own Remote Control vehicles to race and battle against other teams. Students will need to design their vehicles to not only be faster and stronger than other teams’ creations, but also better than purchased RC Cars and Drones! RC Wars will feature land and air races, obstacle courses and more as students learn mechanical and electrical building skills in an energetic and exciting environment. Please register for ALL classes/camps by student's current 2024-25 grade level.

    Char Bzdok Cake pops are made for kids and now they can make their own! We’ll teach you how to combine just the right amount of cake crumbs and buttercream icing to create tasty cake pops in SUMMER FUN colors and HOT designs! You will learn to read a recipe & follow directions, how to melt candy melts and kitchen safety. At the end of this class you will bring home lots of beautifully decorated Cake Pops for your family!
  • Take to the Sky: Stearns County 4-H Day Camp

    Stearns County 4-H Join Stearns County 4-H for a day camp where campers will dive into the thrilling world of rockets! Through hands-on activities and creative projects, youth will learn about the science of flight, the history of aviation and the principles behind rockets and airplanes. Campers will also explore the excitement of building and launching their own rockets and designing simple flying machines.
  • ZEBCO School of Fish

    Mike Frisch, Fishing the Midwest TV The ZEBCO School of Fish is a 2.5 hour long kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) from grades 3 and up taught by pro angler and Fishing the Midwest TV show host, Mike Frisch! Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes and some great ways to catch them! They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber. Kids get to take home a ZEBCO Rod & Reel, School of Fish hat or t-shirt, tackle box and tackle, School of Fish full color workbook, and most importantly the knowledge, skills and equipment to go fishing! One adult is invited to attend with a child at no additional charge, provided they share one equipment package.
