    Huskie Archery Team Coaches Experience the excitement as you release your first arrow and it whizzes through the air and makes contact with the target! This class is designed to give archers the necessary safety training, an introduction to using the Genesis Bow, and practice in the sport of archery. All equipment is provided and only the Genesis Bow will be allowed during the class. Please register for ALL classes/camps by student's current 2023-24 grade level.
  • Intro to Digital Art

    COR Robotics Dive into the captivating world of creativity and technology at our Intro to Digital Art summer camp! This immersive three-day program combines hands-on learning with engaging digital tools, offering a dynamic journey into digital art. Students will explore the fundamentals of digital drawing and apply what they learn to an exciting real world application. Through a partnership with No Grit No Pearl, students will be able to get their favorite design printed on a canvas or t-shirt which will get shipped to their house after the camp! Intro to Digital Art is the perfect blend of fun, skill development and boundless imagination, providing young artists with the tools and confidence to bring their visions to life.
  • Junior Pawettes Dance Camp

    Albany Pawette Dance Coaches Curious what the High School Dance Team is like? Join us for this camp instructed by members and coaches of the Pawettes Dance Team. Dancers will learn general technique in the styles we compete in during the winter season: Kick and Jazz. Along with skills, dancers will also learn strength and stretching routines and will participate in team strengthening and bonding traditions and activities the Pawettes Dance Team values. Camp fee includes a t-shirt. Please register for ALL classes/camps by student's current 2023-24 grade level.

    COR Robotics The “Minecraft Olympics” is a dynamic three-day camp designed to immerse participants in the thrilling world of Minecraft while fostering teamwork, creativity and friendly competition. Campers will engage in daily Build Battles, showcasing their imaginative prowess in constructing awe-inspiring structures aligned with diverse themes. Through this immersive experience, participants not only deepen their understanding of Minecraft’s gameplay but also cultivate camaraderie and problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment. The “Minecraft Olympics” promises a thrilling adventure for campers seeking to combine their love for Minecraft with a collaborative team experience that students won’t forget.
  • Monday Youth Soccer

    Summer youth soccer is here! Learn the basics of soccer with practice and game sessions. Register by July 9 to guarantee a t-shirt. Volunteer coaches are needed to assist with drills led by Albany Soccer Club athletes and coaches. Coaches will receive free registration. Please register for ALL classes/camps by student's current 2023-24 grade level. *In addition to the Township discounts, the residents in Albany and Avon can receive a $10 discount on Summer Recreation programs. Thanks to the financial contributions received from Albany Township, Oak Township, Krain Township, the City of Albany and Avon Lions Club. Please note your town/township upon registration.
  • Pitching Clinic

    Sonya Hoffarth Join the Albany Softball Program to learn the basics of pitching fastpitch softball, from beginners to experienced pitchers. Athletes will learn the pitching progression pitchers use to warm up and practice: the T, the K, the full windmill and then the full pitch. The clinic is designed to prepare athletes for pitching summer leagues as well as junior high and high school softball, taking care to ensure pitchers are using legal MSHSL deliveries, are adding speed and are working toward accuracy. Past athletes have dubbed this clinic the Double Bubble Pinata Pitching Clinic (as Double Bubble and a pinata are part of the camp).
  • Pop It Fidget Chocolate Bar Creations

    Char Bzdok Let’s make some M&M chocolate bars using a Pop It Fidget! Come and have some fun with your friends while making beautifully designed chocolate bars. At the end of this class you will bring home your own Pop It Fidget of choice as well as some chocolate for your family - yum! Just another fun way to use a fidget! Also, fun games are planned to win more fidgets! Everyone will go home with many fidgets and sensory toys!
  • PotSpot Painting Fun

    PotSpot Join PotSpot to paint a fun decoration of your choice. Will you pick a mug or a puppy or a dragon or something else? The item and how you decorate it is up to you! We will also have planters and vases to choose from for Spring! Parents please pick up your child from the art classroom, enter through Kids Co doors (#4 at AVE and #5 at ALE). This will allow those who may take longer than an hour to complete the project.

    Char Bzdok If your kids love being a princess, we’ve got just the activities to keep them having fun! Let them spend some time in the LAND of ROYALTY with a bunch of activities and crafts planned. Each princess will get to choose from a variety of activities, crafts and games (tiaras, wands, nail polish, makeup, food/candy choices and much more)! Let’s break out the tiaras and have a Royal Blast! Please come dressed in your prettiest costume!
  • Purple Pride 1K Run/Walk

    JOIN US for the Purple Pride 1K Run/Walk during Albany Heritage Days! Our race is designed to provide fun for all age groups and levels of participation and is truly an event for the whole family! Register by July 15 to guarantee a race day t-shirt. Race proceeds go towards Early Childhood Preschool Scholarships at Albany Area Schools. Each 1K participant will receive a participation award! Race Day Registration: 7:00-7:45 am

  • Spring Colors Cake Pops

    Char Bzdok Cake pops are made for kids, and now they can make their own! We’ll teach you how to combine just the right amount of cake crumbs and buttercream icing to create tasty cake pops in fun spring colors and designs! You will learn to read a recipe & follow directions, how to melt candy melts and about kitchen safety. At the end of this class you will bring home some beautifully decorated cake pops for your family!
  • Summer Huskie Sports Performance-Fundamentals

    Coach Schwenzfeier Huskie Sports Performance-Fundamentals will introduce athletes to developmentally appropriate training with the most up to date methods for middle school athletes. Consistent time and effort spent training in the program will translate into improved performance in any athlete’s respective sport. Participants must attend 14 sessions to receive a Huskie Sports Performance-Fundamentals "EARNED" t-shirt. Please register for ALL classes/camps by student's current 2023-24 grade level.
  • Summer Swim Club

    Coach Crumley Swimmers will work with Coach Crumley on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly as well as starts and turns. Develop your endurance and technique while having fun with skill building games and activities. This is a great way for younger swimmers to experience competitive swimming and make new friends. Participants get a chance to race in a swim meet at the end of the season. This club is open to both girls and boys. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of front crawl and backstroke without stopping. All participants will need to enter and exit Door 18, which is by the West Staff parking lot.

    Have fun on the field this summer where the basic fundamental skills of fielding, throwing, catching and hitting off a tee will be taught. Multiple times available. Register by May 24 to guarantee a t-shirt. Volunteer coaches are needed and receive free registration! Participants must be 5 years old by September 1, 2024 to participate.   • Who Stole the Cookies: A Crime Scene Investigation Day Camp!

    Stearns County 4-H Someone has stolen the cookies from the potluck and we need your help to figure out who it was! Join Stearns County 4-H as we dig into crime scene investigation techniques and science experiments to figure out who the thief is. All campers are asked to wear sunscreen and bring a bag lunch for the noon meal and a water bottle. A snack will be provided. All non-4-H youth are asked to turn in a participation form (http://z.umn.edu/StearnsForm) to the Stearns County Extension Office before participating in a 4-H day camp.
